- Chili Flakes - 2 cups
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Himalayan Pink Salt - 1 tsp
- Rice Vinegar - 0.33 cup
- Sugar - 1 tsp
Directions
Step 1
In a bowl, combine chili flakes and salt.
Step 2
Add rice vinegar and sugar; stir into a paste.
Step 3
Stir in minced garlic.
Step 4
If needed, splash in a little water to reach desired consistency.
Step 5
Let rest 10 minutes to develop flavor.
Step 6
Store in a jar in the refrigerator.
Cook's Notes
For extra heat, use bird’s-eye chili flakes.
